This beer really shouldn't work, but for some reason it does, and it's fantastic--as long as you're a fan of white chocolate. Brewed by the Sonoran Brewing Co., which is housed within the PHX Beer Co. in, if you haven't already guessed, downtown Phoenix, Arizona, this is one of my go-tos every time I visit this excruciatingly hot desert city.
The PHX Beer Co., where you'll find the white chocolate ale.
Sold on tap and in large/small cans within the PHX Beer Co., this one pours a wonderful hazy, golden color with a relatively thin head. At 4.7%. ABV, it packs a lot of flavor, notably wheat, white chocolate, and maybe even a little marshmallow--I would describe it as semi-sweet, but not overpowering.

All in all, it's a really novel beer, perfect for drinking any time of the year. Grab some at the PHX Beer Co. or local beer stores in the greater Phoenix area. I give it 11 blue-meditating-monkeys/10. Cheers!
Taking some to-go.
