About Me
Greetings! I'm Dan, founder of Dan Treks, but you probably already guessed that.

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, I've been making movies since I was 16 years old, and even took out thousands of dollars in student loans and went to college for it: whose bright idea was that? (It was mine).

After one corporate job too many, I started my own videography business, creating commercials for clients, filming people's wedding days, and managing this project, of course.

When I'm not filming or traveling with my wife, we're likely at home with our three cats, cheering on the Buffalo Bills, or enjoying the local craft beer scene.
Why Travel?
So, why do I love traveling? Well, for starters, who doesn't need a vacation once in a while? It's more than just taking a break though: strict habits and familiar settings can stunt creativity, while exploring new places, seeing new cultures, and engaging in new experiences provide new ideas and perspectives. Travel doesn't just rest your mind and body: it boosts them!

So on top of all of those benefits, I love seeing new places, meeting new people, and capturing it all through my camera's lens. Sharing my experiences and providing the content for others to do the same is what this project is all about.
